Survey of Leach and Related Protocols under Wireless Sensor Networks

چکیده

WSN is a power constrained system, since nodes run on limited power batteries shorten lifespan of the system. Prolonging the network lifetime depends on efficient management of sensing node energy resource. Hierarchical routing protocols are best known in regard to energy efficiency. By using a hierarchical clustering routing protocols Technical greatly minimize energy Consumed in collecting and Disseminating data. Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) is one of the fundamental protocols in this class. It forms node clusters based on the received signal strength and uses local cluster heads as routers to the BS. This paper surveys various LEACH related protocols that have been proposed in the research.
